There is something so powerful about friendship that everyone longs for. In my writing, I try to explore that feeling of comradery and connection that everyone can feel. So, look at your life and see who you have around you to be grateful for.

All Aidan could hear was the howling wind and the scrape of the sled on the ice. The dogs picked up their speed with a renewed sense of energy. They were nearing the end of their run and knew it. They broke through the tree line with the swish of the sled and the rattle of the gangline.

After ten months of sending in queries, I got an email back from an agent saying she may be interested in representing my book!! But what exactly does that mean in the scheme of things?

Research is one of the most important aspects of writing. Whether you're writing a historical fiction and need to know about the old west, whether you're writing a sci-fi and need your tech to be realistic, or whether you're writing an action/adventure like me and want to know how to make the fight real. But after you spend hours doing research, how do you know if you need 2 sentences or 3 paragraphs?
